Our Experience
We have a combined 15 years experience helping people and businesses manage their finances and implementing business strategies to move forward with confidence. As a former Revenue Officer, and corporate Accountant in the Real Estate and Manufacturing industries, the cumulative knowledge gained created a unique opportunity to take control of our future and offer our services to the world.
Now that our business is gaining traction, we have been fortunate to build partnerships with prominent breweries, cideries, service-providers, construction contractors, and real estate investors. As explained in our bookkeeping and tax preparation pages, AccuCountants has developed a strong foundation to help businesses streamline their operations as a result. Our clients will tell you our responsibilities are always completed in accordance to our values.
Our Guarantee
It’s pretty simple really. If we messed it up, when we should have known better, we will fix it on our own time and expense. There’s no other way. Accountability is a critical component in our professional values. As a precaution we carry Errors and Omissions insurance to protect you.
Whenever a mistake is identified, AccuCountants will sit down with you to learn the issue. From there we will identify the cause and make the necessary corrections. Every precaution will be taken to ensure the problem doesn’t happen again.
Wouldn’t it be great for any of us to say we’re perfect? In order to improve how we perform we have to own our mistakes and look at them as opportunities. To prevent repeat issues we review our procedures and make any adjustments we find to be necessary. Client’s are never billed for time spent resolving problems when we are responsible for them.

Knowledge: Continuing education and learning new skills are enshrined in our employee development programs. Never satisfied we know everything, we pursue opportunities to attend classes, seminars, and online events to grow our skillset to stay current with industry technology and trends.
Professionalism: Professionalism is manifested through how we communicate and perform. Customers aren’t just paying client’s. Customers are also staff of client’s, client’s and our own vendor’s and customer’s, our own employee’s, to name a few.
Diligence: From the moment AccuCountants joins your team, we get busy integrating ourself into your systems, and building processes to consistently perform and exceed your expectations. Planning and execution build habits for success. Each success increases confidence among all of us.
Timeliness: As habits are developed timeliness is built in to each process. Upon initiating our relationship things will take a little longer to complete. There will be systems to learn, tasks to complete, and adjustments to make in the beginning of our relationship. Progressively everything will be completed faster, improvements may be found to increase efficiency, as we strive to meet our goals.
Consistency: In order for any of this to work there has to be consistency. If we drop off our work ethic in any one area it will likely have wide reaching impacts as it affects our rationale to perform in other areas. That’s why we made consistency one of our values. When we perform periodic operational reviews, having consistency as a value ensures we look at how regularly we meet timelines and expectations.
Our Charitable Interests
Many experience hardships in life. We at AccuCountants included. Volunteering with children in need, rescue and shelter animals, improving the environment, and feeding the homeless are just some of the ways we give back from the blessings we have received. Our Founding AccuCountant, Elroy
When Elroy is not busy working with clients and building our business, he spends his time doing any one of his favorite hobbies. Maintaining a consistent work life balance keeps him immersed in what he loves and energized to perform every day.
- Reading – Similar to keeping a good work life balance, Elroy’s reading habits are split between non-fiction and fiction. Both offer perspectives that build fulfilling lives and prosperous businesses.
- Outdoors – Being among the lakes, mountains, desert, and forests of our beautiful planet brings Elroy peace of mind. It refreshes the spirit allowing time to decompress and shift from business to personal mindsets.
- Hiking – Being one of the best ways to be in the outdoors and spend time with his dog, Sage, Elroy averages more than 10 miles on the hiking trails any given work day, and more on the weekends.
- Spending Time With His Fur Baby – Adopting Sage was not a commitment taken lightly by Elroy. He strives to spoil her rotten. She is the princess of the house, and is involved in most of Elroy’s adventures.
- Helping the Homeless – Having experience with homelessness motivates Elroy to pay his success forward. Working with the homeless is done while partnering with organizations like ChUM and Simpson Housing, as well as on the streets fellowshipping directly with those he is given the opportunity to meet.
- Music – Music has been one of Elroy’s primary methods to manage life and relate with people. Many times music has been the reason for travel, and all other plans were made around music. You may catch Elroy out enjoying a show in any of the wonderful music venue’s in Duluth and Superior.
